Jeni,I totally feel your pain with a tall skinny girl! At least where you live, it’s warm enough to wear capris for most of the year… Viv will likely be wearing LOTS of dresses with leggings this year as that’s about the only thing that fits her well!

You know, it’s really funny because Carter’s shirt is a 3t and Kate’s is only a 2t. It’s mainly because the store was out of 2t’s for Carter and the 18 month was too tight around his belly. But, it’s really not that big on him! Ha!

Way to go, Jeni! Actually, I think I’m more impressed that this is the first time you’ve taken them out by yourself.

It used to be so easy for me, putting O’s carrier in the basket and E in the seat. Then one day she decided that she she didn’t want to sit in the seat. I, too would have to bribe her with food. I always stick a couple of fruit snack packages in my pocket if we plan to be out in public, haha.

Now that O is sitting up, yesterday we went out to Target and he sat in the front and E sat in the basket. She preferred to stand. And she did make it challenging because she would often throw things out of the basket that I put in there, so I had to get a carry basket and stick it under my cart to hold the things I was buying.

Oh, and a giant bag of popcorn keeps a toddler occupied pretty well. Not the healthiest thing, but it works.

Oh Jeni! I feel for you. If I go out with the two kids (heaven forbid three) I use the double stroller. The only place I don’t do that is at Sam’s club. Thankfully, they have the wide carts so I can put both kids at the top of the cart.

Kate’s face at Hobby Lobby is priceless. Hobby Lobby should be a fun place for you and unfortunately, you didn’t get that today!
